5 New Cases of COVID-19

There are new 5 cases of COVID-19 in NL.

The new cases are located in the Eastern Health region. This brings the total number of cases to 252.

170 have recovered, 7 are in hospital, and 3 are in ICU.

5,370 people have been tested so far. Dr. Suzanne Brake the Seniors’ Advocate says she is most concerned about seniors who are physically isolated and don't have supports.

Dr. Brake says we need to depend on staff at Long Term Care Homes to connect us to loved ones. Just not physically.
