41 new COVID-19 cases and 2 deaths

The province is reporting 41 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 since the last public advisory.

Of the new cases, 10 are located in the Eastern Health region. 31 cases are located in the Central Health region.

There are two new presumptive positive cases in the province.

Newfoundland and Labrador is reporting its ninth and tenth death from COVID-19.

There have been 23 new recoveries.

There are seven people in the hospital because of COVID-19, three in non-critical care and four in critical care.

There are currently 180 active cases of COVID-19 in the province.

So far, 308,013 tests have been administered.

As part of the ongoing investigation into cases in the Central Health region, Public Health is asking anyone who visited locations listed below on the respective date and time to arrange testing.

• Tai Sun Restaurant, 14 Cromer Avenue, Grand Falls-Windsor on Sunday, September 19 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

• Mcdonald’s, 472 Main Street, Lewisporte on Wednesday, September 22 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

• Lily’s Landing Restaurant, 210 Airport Boulevard, Gander on Saturday, September 25 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
