4 New COVID-19 Cases Reported



On Friday there were four new cases of COVID-19 in Newfoundland and Labrador.


One case is located in the Labrador-Grenfell Health region and three are in the Eastern Health region. Three of the new cases are related to international travel and one is related to travel within Canada.


There is one person in hospital due to COVID-19. The individual is a crew member from the ship that was off the coast of Bay Bulls.


There are currently seven active cases.


265,419 tests have been administered.


Public Health is asking anyone who visited the Starbucks at 1641 Topsail Road on Wednesday, August 11 from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in Paradise to arrange testing. The restaurant has been notified.
