32 New Cases in NL, 1 in Western Health


There are 32 new presumptive positive cases in NL. 31 of which are in Eastern Health, there is now one in Western Health.

There are now 67 cases in total across the province. At this time, 1,336 tests have administered, 1,269 are negative.

So far officials have identified 44 cases that are linked to Caul's Funeral Home.

The Western Health case is believed to be travel related.

Ages of those with the virus range from 8 to 78. At this time, no one has needed to be hospitalized.

Premier Ball says the government will use the law to force those into compliance who need to self-isolate. Anyone, not self-isolating will get a fine and have driver's license taken.


Ball echoed a John F. Kennedy quote, "ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."
