30 new COVID-19 cases, outbreak on the Burin Peninsula


There are 30 new cases of COVID-19 today. 27 are in the Eastern Health region and three are in the Central Health region.


There is a new cluster in the Marystown area and 21 students have tested positive at Sacred Heart Academy. The school has suspended onsite learning.


Several communities on the Burin Peninsula are moving to Alert Level 3.


There are 62 active cases in the province, four people are in hospital and 327,666 tests have been administered.


Dr. Fitzgerald is asking people to not travel off the Burin Peninsula.
