3 Schools to Close with no enrollment

The Board of Trustees of the Newfoundland and Labrador English School District has closed three schools.

Raymond Ward Memorial School in Norman Bay, Basque Memorial School in Red Bay, and Bayview Primary in Nipper’s Harbour will close.

There were no students enrolled, and no staff assigned, to either school this year, and the District only recently confirmed there would be no students in attendance in September 2021.
