25-Tonne Truck will deliver healthy food in Labrador

The Food Producers Forum, in partnership with the NunatuKavut Community Council and with support from Farm Credit Canada, has supported Spruce Meadow Farms in Goose Bay, Labrador to purchase a large refrigerated truck for food distribution in Central and Southern Labrador.

In the past year, Spruce Meadow Farms, a major food producer in Goose Bay, has planted the largest crop in Labrador history and has begun bringing in high quality food from a warehouse in Montreal.

This truck will significantly expand delivery of healthy food to communities on the Labrador coast.
