23 year old male arrested after assaulting a police officer at a NL Health Services Facility

At around 10:05 p.m A Officer with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) was at a NL Health Services Facility conducting an investigation. While at the facility, the officer was

attacked unprovoked by a person unrelated to the investigation. The officer was able to defend himself and arrest the male for assault on a peace officer. The 23 year old male was conveyed to the St. John’s lockup
