21 new cases of COVID-19 and two deaths



There are 21 new cases since the last advisory on Friday. Eight of the new cases are located in the Eastern Health region, 12 are in the Central Health region, and one is in the Labrador-Grenfell Health region.


Newfoundland and Labrador is reporting its twelfth and thirteenth deaths from COVID-19.


There have been 62 new recoveries. There are 12 people in hospital, seven in non-critical care and five in critical care.


There are three new presumptive positive cases in the province.


There are currently 69 active cases of COVID-19 in the province.


Anyone who visited Dollarama, 2 Hardy Avenue, Grand Falls-Windsor on Sunday, October 3 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m should arrange for testing.
