Two Teens Steal Car in St. John's #nltraffic

On Monday evening the RNC responded to a call involving a stolen vehicle in the east end of St John’s.

The owners of a previously reported stolen vehicle observed it being operated in the area of Portugal Cove Road.

Members located the vehicle on a commercial parking lot and were able to arrest the operator and a passenger without incident.

A 16 year old male was arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime, breaches of court orders and being unlawfully at large.

A 13 year old male passenger was also arrested and charged with breaching their court orders.

Both youth were held in custody to appear before a Judge.
