RCMP Charges Aggressive Speeder in Labrador #nltraffic

A 27-year-old Sheshatshiu man is suspended from driving following a traffic stop on Route 520, between Happy Valley-Goose Bay and Sheshatshiu.

RCMP were conducting speed enforcement and observed an SUV travelling at a high rate of speed. Speeds as high as 143 km/h were observed in the 80 km/h speed zone.

Police seized and impounded the vehicle and ticketed the driver for speeding more than 51 km/h above the speed limit.
