Police Catch Parking Meter Bandit

The RNC caught a thief in the act on Friday morning.

Police received a report of someone breaking into parking meters in the Downtown area of St. John’s.

A 58-year-old male was arrested for mischief under $5000.00, theft under $5000.00 and for possessing break and enter tools.

The accused was taken to St. John’s City Lock-up but was be released to attend Court.
