Fire at Apartment Building in St. John’s

There was a small fire at an apartment building in the East end of St. John’s.

At 11:50 pm on Wednesday night police received a report of the fire.

The building was evacuated, but the fire was contained in a small area and a resident extinguished it.

There was no damage to the building and all residents were able to return to their homes.

The fire remains under investigation.
