Impaired Driver in Lark Harbour Arrested After Found Three Times Over the Legal Limit #nltraffic

RCMP have arrested a 31-year-old man from Lark Harbour for impaired driving.

Corner Brook RCMP received a report of a man who was causing a disturbance at the bar at approximately 11:30 p.m., on Tuesday.

The man, who was suspected to be impaired, departed in a vehicle.

Police patrolled and located the vehicle in the Town of Lark Harbour. The driver was found to be impaired by alcohol and was arrested and transported to Corner Brook Detachment for breath testing.

He provided breath samples that were nearly three times the legal limit.

The man was also ticketed under the Highway Traffic Act for driving without a licence and registration.

Officers impounded his vehicle and released him from custody. He is scheduled to attend court on March 3, 2020, to face charges of impaired driving.
