Man Arrested After Banging on Window of Business with Weapon

On Saturday afternoon Corner Brook RNC responded to a report of a male entering a local commercial business in the Main Street area while he was subject to a Petty Trespass Notice to remain away from the business.

The male was asked to leave the premises.

Upon leaving and outside, the male began banging on the window of the business with a weapon.

The Male was later located and arrested.

As a result of the investigation, a forty year old male resident of Corner Brook was charged with Possession of a Weapon for a dangerous purpose and also one count of Mischief.

He was released on a Police Officer Undertaking with conditions to appear in court at a later date. The weapon was seized by Police without incident.
