63 Canadians Killed in Iran Plane Crash

A plane has crashed in Iran killing 176 people, 63 of whom are Canadians.

Everyone onboard the Boeing 737-800 aircraft died.

The plane was headed to Ukraine.

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy extended his condolences to the families of the victims.

Ukraine International Airlines has suspended flights to Tehran.

When the plane took off, it never made it past 2,400 metres before crashing and bursting into flames.

There is no word on what caused the crash.
