Fire at Roman Catholic Church Furnace Building in Carbonear

There is a fire in the furnace building outside the Saint Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Carbonear at this hour.

The Carbonear Volunteer Fire Department and the RCMP are on the scene.

Mass is cancelled this evening.

Everyone is safe and the church is not affected according to reports.

The church is located on St. Clare Avenue.
