Impaired Driver Stopped in Corner Brook

Early on New Year's Day the RNC conducted a traffic stop on Herald Avenue in Corner Brook.

The 53-year-old male resident of Halfway Point was arrested for impaired driving and impaired with greater than 80 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood.

The accused was released to appear in Court at a later date.

He was also issued a suspension of driving privileges.
