Body Recovered from Pond in Grand-Falls Windsor

RCMP say that the body of a 36-year-old man has been recovered from a pond in Grand Falls-Windsor.

Since Saturday afternoon RCMP along with the Exploits Ground Search and Rescue, Bishop’s Falls Fire Department and paramedics were searching for the missing snowmobiler.

The man was travelling on a snowmobile with another person when they became separated.

No ice is safe this time of year on the Island.
