Western Health Appoints New Vice President of Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer

Christopher Squire has been appointed Vice President of Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer of Western Health.

As the current Regional Director of Financial Services and Budgeting, Squire has demonstrated effective financial leadership for the Western region. “Chris has gained the respect of his colleagues provincially and within Western Health for being a strong leader with a deep understanding of our health system,” said Cindy Davis, CEO. “We are delighted to welcome Chris into this new role. The Vice President of Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer is vital for our organization to ensure we provide programs and services that meet the needs of our population while continuing to be fiscally responsible.”

Squire is a Chartered Professional Accountant and as Vice President of Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer, he will be responsible for financial services, capital planning and redevelopment, health records, food services, environmental services, and facilities and equipment operations.

He takes over the post on January 1, 2020.
