RCMP responds to gun complaint in L’Anse au Loup

On Christmas Eve RCMP in Forteau RCMP received a complaint that a male resident of L'Anse au Loup had made threatening statements involving firearms.

Police responded to the scene and established contact with the man.

After a period of time the man exited the residence without incident and was taken into police custody. RCMP seized several firearms from the residence.

At this time no charges have been laid.

An investigation is ongoing.
