Fire at Hotel Mount Pearl Again

The Hotel Mount Pearl is on fire once again. This is the second time there has been a fire at the hotel since Christmas Day.

Firefighters received the call shortly after 5:00 am this morning.

Photos of the hotel show flames billowing out of the roof of the building. There is thick smoke in the air that can be seen throughout Mount Pearl and portions of St. John's.

Park Avenue is closed to all traffic.

The fire has still not been extinguished.

An investigation will be forthcoming.
