Springdale School Placed in Secure School Mode

Indian River High School in Springdale has been placed in secure school mode this morning on the advice of the RCMP.

The reason is a result of an indirect threat made against the school.

The school said in a tweet that all students are safe and under the supervision of staff.

Police are also on site.

While in secure school mode, no access will be granted to the school and outside contact with students will be limited.
