Clarenville RCMP Arrests Pair for possession of Cocaine for Trafficking

On December 11, Clarenville RCMP conducted a traffic stop on a truck that was parked in the parking lot of a business in Clarenville.

Officers observed the occupants cooking what appeared to be crack cocaine within the vehicle.

Police arrested a 43-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, both from Clarenville, for possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.

Police searched the vehicle and seized a large number of drug-related items.

Both individuals have been released on conditions and are scheduled to return to court in February, 2020 to answer to charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance.
