Government Reaches Tentative Agreements with NAPE

The Provincial Government has reached a tentative agreement with NAPE to extend 16 current collective agreements until March 31, 2022.

The agreement extends all aspects of the current collective agreements for two years, with the exception of certain specific amendments.

These amendments include a salary increase and a reduction to long-term financial liabilities through changes to post-employment benefits for new employees.

These agreements are subject to ratification by NAPE’s over 16,000 members from across the province.
