Man Arrested After Altercation at Tim Hortons in Springdale

A man from Springdale has been arrested following a disturbance at Tim Hortons in Springdale.

On December 8, 2019, at 6:00 a.m., Baie Verte RCMP received a report of a man causing a disturbance at the establishment.

It is alleged that the 59-year-old man assaulted an employee before entering the business where he continued yelling and screaming.

The man was arrested at a residence a short time later and is facing charges of assault, uttering threats and causing a disturbance. He was released from custody and will appear in court in February in Grand Falls-Windsor.
