Lourdes Man Faces Impaired Charges Following Collision #nltraffic

RCMP came upon a single-vehicle motor vehicle collision that occurred in Abraham’s Cove this morning.

The vehicle, carrying the driver and a female occupant, departed the roadway leaving the woman with life-threatening injuries.

She was taken for emergency medical treatment.

The driver, was found to be impaired by alcohol.

He was arrested at the scene and taken to Bay St. George Detachment where he provided breath samples near twice the legal limit.
