Corner Brook Man Charged For Failing to Remain at Collision


Corner Brook RNC have charged a Corner Brook man as a result of an ongoing investigation.

On November 2, RNC responded to a single vehicle collision on Valley Road. Upon arrival, the driver of the vehicle had left the scene. A female passenger was left inside the overturned vehicle. With the assistance of the Corner Brook Fire Department the female was safely removed from the vehicle and conveyed to Western Memorial Regional Hospital for observation.

As a result of an investigation, on November 17, a 23 year old male resident of Corner Brook was charged with Failing to Remain at a Collision under the Criminal Code. He was also charged with Driving while Prohibited under the Criminal Code. The accused will appear in Provincial Court, Corner Brook, NL in January.
