Impaired Driver Strikes Pedestrian #nltraffic

The RNC responded to a collision between a motor vehicle and a pedestrian in the Town of Paradise on Monday evening.

A 58-year-old male was arrested for impaired driving causing bodily harm and refusing a breath sample demand.

He was taken to St. John’s City Lock-up to be released to appear in Court at a later date.

The female victim sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized.

The RNC accident investigation unit is continuing the investigation.
