Another Armed Robbery in St. John's


There has been another armed robbery in St. John's.

RNC responded to the armed robbery at a business in the east end of St. John’s.

By the time officers arrived the suspects had already left in a vehicle which was located in the center city shortly after.

Two males fled on foot and one of them was arrested after a short foot chase. A 36 year old male was held to appear before a judge and is charged with theft, assault with a weapon, uttering threats, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public, carrying a concealed weapon, resisting arrest, assaulting a police officer and breach of court order.

The second male was not located but has been identified and a warrant for his arrest has been requested. A 29 year old female was also located in the suspect vehicle and has been charged with theft. She was released to appear before a judge at a later date. The matter is still under investigation by the RNC Criminal Investigation Division.
