Twitter Helps Corner Brook Boy With Birthday Wishes

An 11-year-old from Corner Brook was sad when no one showed up to his birthday party.

Kade's father took to Twitter and said, "My son Kade had his 11th birthday party last night. None of his invited friends came. That hurt. I’m asking my Twitter friends to show him some love today. If you have a minute, please send him a birthday wish."

In the post, he tagged Toronto Maple Leaf players and the team.

The response was overwhelming. The post got 17.8 thousand retweets, 123.7 thousand likes, and over 56 thousand comments.
