Man Arrested After Barricading Himself Inside a Home

On Saturday morning the responded to a break and enter in progress into a home in the Townsite area.

The two occupants of the home exited the premises and called police.

Officers attended and entered the home and located a male barricaded inside a room.

A Crisis Negotiator was also called in.

The accused, a 22 year old male, has been charged with Break and Enter (Home Invasion) and Mischief.

There were no injuries.
