Corner Brook RNC Assist Fish and Wildlife Enforcement With Impaired Driver


On Tuesday evening the RNC responded to a request for assistance from the Fish and Wildlife enforcement department.

Wildlife officers advised that they were dealing with a male on ATV in a wilderness area west of Corner Brook and they believed the male operator to be impaired.

Responding administered a roadside Alcohol screening device and this resulted in the male failing the test.

Police arrested and charged a 36 year old male with Impaired Operation of a conveyance and operation of a conveyance while having a blood alcohol concentration above the legal limit.

The accused was released to appear in court at a later date.
