New appointments have been made to Eastern Health Regional Health Authority Board of Trustees.
As of October 18 the Provincial Government has appointed Scott Tessier for a three-year term.
This appointment was recommended by the Independent Appointments Commission, which is an independent body established by the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador to provide merit-based recommendations for appointments.
Eastern Health is the province’s largest health authority, providing services to a population of more than 300,000 people.
The region extends west from St. John’s to Port Blandford, and includes all communities on the Avalon, Burin and Bonavista peninsulas.
