More Items Stolen From Unlocked Vehicles in Corner Brook
There has been another rash of people having items stolen from unlocked vehicles in Corner Brook.
There were three more instances.
On Wheeler’s Road a wallet containing debit and credit cards. Following the theft the debit and credit cards were used at a number of businesses.
A fraud investigation is continuing as a result.
A parked vehicle had been entered overnight on Budgen Place and a wallet with personal identification and debit and credit cards were stolen. A laptop computer was also stolen from the vehicle during this incident.
Then on Pratt Street on October 5, a purse was stolen during this incident.
In these theft incidents, all vehicles targeted were unlocked and valuable property left inside the vehicle. The RNC is asking the general public to secure vehicles when left unattended and do not leave valuable items inside the vehicle.
