With election day fast approaching, it is important to make sure you are registered to vote.

To register and vote in the federal election, you must be a Canadian citizen, at least 18 years old on election day, and prove your identity and address.

You can register before or when you go to vote.

You can use the Online Voter Registration Service before October 15 at 6:00 pm or visit your Elections Canada office before October 15 at 6:00 pm.

You can register when you go to vote at your assigned polling station on election day, October 21. At your assigned polling station on advance polling days, October 11, 12, 13 or 14. Or at any Elections Canada office across Canada before October 15, 6:00 pm.
