Massive Recall for Nissan Vehicles

Nissan is recalling 1.3 million vehicles sold in both Canada and the United States due to a problem with the backup camera displays.

Most Nissan and Infiniti models are being recalled from the years 2018 and 2019.

In Canada, 126,195 vehicles are impacted.

The recall is due to a problem that allows drivers to switch off the backup cameras and the vehicle will remember that selection next time the vehicle is put in reverse which violates federal safety standards.

Beginning on October 21, customers can get their camera updated at no cost.
