Job Fair Held in Corner Brook for New Hospital

There was a job fair and information session at the Corner Brook Civic Centre on Tuesday for the new west coast acute care hospital.

It was hosted by the Corner Brook Health Partnership.

There were networking opportunities with companies participating in the job fair and information session.

The new hospital will be a seven-storey, 600,000 square foot facility will be connected to the 145-bed long-term care home currently under construction.

The hospital will have 164 beds with the same services currently provided at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, as well as an expanded cancer care program including radiation services.
