RCMP Assist Cow in Getting Home

At approximately 8:05 a.m. on September 5, 2019, Bay Roberts RCMP received a complaint of a cow on a roadway in North River.

Police officers responded and located the cow, a young bull from Bay Roberts, grazing on some grass along the roadway in North River.

The cow peacefully allowed the officer to tie him to a nearby fence until his owner was located.

The owner then walked the cow safely back to Bay Roberts.
