RNC Stop Vehicle Going 105 in 60 Zone

On Saturday at 7:45 am RNC conducted a traffic safety check in the area of Kenmount Rd in St John’s for speeding.

The vehicle was observed travelling at 105 km/h in the 60 km/h zone. After further investigation, it was determined that the vehicle did not have a valid insurance policy.

As a result, a 27 year old male was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with speeding, no insurance and not having a proper accompanying driver (Novice Driver only).

The vehicle was also impounded.
