RCMP Investigate Workplace Fatality in Stephenville

On Tuesday, Bay St. George RCMP were engaged by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in relation the death of a 55-year-old man following a workplace injury at the College of the North Atlantic Heavy Equipment Campus in Stephenville on August 28.

The man was employed with a commercial painting company doing work at the campus.

He died in hospital on September 1, 2019.

Bay St. George RCMP are investigating, in cooperation with Occupational Health and Safety and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
