Police fired tear gas inside a train station and in several residential areas on Sunday amid growing protests in Hong Kong.

Anti-government demonstrators took to the streets once again this weekend.

Tear gas was also deployed in central Hong Kong.

One police officer was taken to the hospital after being burned from a petrol bomb thrown by a protester.

The protests are against the Fugitive Offenders and Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters Legislation (Amendment) Bill proposed by the government of Hong Kong.
