Whitbourne RCMP Says Look Out for Moose #nltraffic

The RCMP in Whitbourne is advising motorists to exercise caution.

This comes after an increase in moose vehicle collisions and sightings of moose in the Whitbourne area.

RCMP say that over the past two weeks they have responded to seven non-life threatening moose vehicle collisions in the area.

Moose are more active at night and early morning, and can be difficult to see.

Remain alert and reduce speeds.
