Corner Brook RNC Make Arrest for Assault With A Weapon

RNC in Corner Brook arrested a male following an assault with a weapon.

On August 5th, officers received a complaint of a disturbance inside a residence in the Downtown area.

As a result of the investigation it was determined that an air pistol was pointed at the victim.

Police arrested a 34 year old male resident of Corner Brook without incident. The male has been held in custody to appear in Provincial Court today.

He is facing charges of Assault with a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous purpose.

There were no injuries as a result of the assault and the victim and the accused are known to each other.
