Police Arrest Man Wanted on Warrants

On Friday night round 11:30 pm RNC responded to a report of unknown trouble at a residence in the Centre City area of St. John’s.

Upon arrival Police located a wanted person who fled on foot.

After a short chase he was arrested. The 47 year old male was arrested for resisting arrest, public mischief by giving a false name to police and failing to comply with a Court order.

He also had outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was conveyed to St. John’s City Lock-up to appear in Court in the morning.
