Single-Vehicle Collision Near Roddickton

On October 2, 2018, at approximately 8:00 p.m., St. Anthony and Roddickton RCMP responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision near the intersection of Route 433 and 434 on the outskirts of Roddickton.

Officers arrived on scene and located a single vehicle which had gone over an embankment.

The investigation revealed there had been three occupants in the vehicle and they had all been escorted to the local medical centre.

Police attended the medical centre and were advised a 33-year-old woman from Roddickton succumbed to her injuries.

Two other occupants were transported to Dr. Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
