RNC Stop Driver Going 152 km/h near Steady Brook #nltraffic

On Monday morning RNC stopped a vehicle on the Trans-Canada Highway in Steady Brook after the vehicle was monitored driving at 152 km/h in a 100 km/h zone.

An 18 year old male resident of Rocky Harbour, NL was charged under the Highway Traffic Act for Speeding (Exceeding the speed limit 51 km/h or greater).

He was issued a Summary Offence Ticket for the incident.

The driver received a 7 day driving suspension and the vehicle was impounded for 3 days as a result of the incident.
