Woman Found With Open Alcohol in Vehicle

The RNC in Corner Brook received an anonymous report of a possible impaired driver in the O’Connell Drive area on Monday afternoon.

Police located the vehicle in question in the Riverside Drive area.

While the driver was not impaired, there was open alcohol in the vehicle.

The sixty-five-year-old female resident of McIver’s was charged under the Liquor Control Act and issued a Summary Offence Ticket for “Open Liquor In Vehicle.”
