Tent Butt Appealing Murder Conviction

Trent Butt is appealing his conviction of first-degree murder when he killed his five-year-old daughter Quinn.

Butt is appealing the conviction without a lawyer.

He says that his lawyer was incompetent.

Also in the appeal letter, Butt says that there were errors made in the jury selection.

Butt admitted to killing his daughter during the trial but said he doesn’t remember it.

After being convicted by the jury, he was sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 25 years.

Quinn's mother said, “he’s delaying the inevitable.”
