Driver Going 148 km/h on Team Gushue Highway Stopped #nltraffic

On Sunday The RNC were conducting traffic safety enforcement using stationary radar in the area of the Team Gushue Highway.

A vehicle was observed travelling 148 km/h in an 80 km/h zone. Patrol Services conducted a traffic safety stop on the vehicle, and a male driver was issued a Highway Traffic Act violation for speeding +51 km/h over the posted speed zone.

The male driver was also given a 7 day driver’s license suspension, and the vehicle was impounded by Patrol Services.
